Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the site superintendent in managing residential construction communities. You will help with scheduling, supervising subcontractors, quality control, and safety compliance to deliver homes on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes customer service during construction, coordination with inspectors, and maintaining safety and site cleanliness, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; six months to 2 years of related experience.
• Must have valid driver's license and be willing to drive among construction sites.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; customer satisfaction focus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect daily to ensure quality and alignment with plans and schedule.
• Schedule and walk inspections with inspectors; ensure homeowner satisfaction.
• Assist in managing subcontractors and enforce safety and standards.
• Support construction schedule to deliver quality product on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain positive relations with subcontractors and homeowners.
