JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Project Manager plays a vital role in delivering projects successfully through the production phase of our design-build process. Responsibilities include overseeing all phases of construction, typically managing 3-4 projects simultaneously depending on project complexity.

A Project Manager must be willing to work hard, take direction well, be self-motivated, maintain a positive attitude, and be familiar with all phases of residential remodeling and construction. They must handle financial responsibilities, participate in all project phases including pre- and post-construction, and manage workers and trade partners regarding work quotes, estimates, performance, and scheduling, including inspections.

The Project Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager and manages daily tasks required to complete projects, communicating regularly with clients, team members, trade partners, and vendors.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 5 years residential remodeling experience
  • Ability to maintain a positive and supportive attitude
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on budget and on schedule
  • Proficient with smartphones, apps, and project management software such as CoConstruct
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of construction methods, systems, and building codes
  • Ability to perform material takeoffs and collect estimates
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Punctuality, organization, and attention to detail
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong record-keeping and documentation skills
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include maintaining safety and cleanliness on-site, supervising subcontractors, managing schedules, tracking budgets and invoices, and ensuring client satisfaction through regular communication and updates.

Additional duties involve pre-construction planning, site inspections, managing construction tasks, quality control, safety compliance, and project closeout procedures.

WORK HOURS & SCHEDULE:

Typically Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with occasional extended hours for warranty or project needs.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
  • Full-time exempt salaried position
  • Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 annually, negotiable
  • 15 days PTO, 3% 401K match after 1 year
  • Bonuses based on performance
