American Abstract Title, part of the Knox-Title Family, is seeking a Residential & Commercial Closing Agent in Central Arkansas. This in-person role guides buyers, sellers, lenders, and agents through the closing process from preparation to completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in title, escrow, mortgage, banking, or real estate.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions with high accuracy.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and deposit escrow funds and disburse funds.
• Review closing documents and identify needed information.
• Coordinate with courthouse personnel, buyers, sellers, lenders, and other parties.
• Calculate prorated balances for mortgages, taxes, and insurance.
• Review contracts and determine final closing costs.
• Schedule closings and answer questions about the process.
• Conduct closings and notarize documents as needed.
• Ensure closings comply with policies and regulations.
