Responsibilities

• Prepare letters, forms, checks, closing documents, and other escrow-related documentation
• Assist with residential and commercial closings from opening through post-closing
• Execute escrow instructions and contractual requirements, including holding and disbursing funds and legal documents
• Review deeds, assignments, mortgages, and related documents for accuracy and compliance
• Enter and maintain accurate transaction information within escrow software systems
• Generate closing documents and verify data prior to closing
• File, record, and deliver deeds and other legal documents with the appropriate agencies
• Process disbursements for taxes, insurance, mortgage payoffs, and other closing-related expenses
• Order third-party services, including title requirements, surveys, termite inspections, insurance, and other services
• Communicate with customers, lenders, real estate professionals, attorneys, and internal team members during the closing process
• Answer customer questions and resolve routine issues with professionalism and accuracy
• Review transaction reports and payment allocations to identify and correct discrepancies
• Maintain organized electronic and physical files while meeting deadlines
• Support Escrow Officers and perform additional duties as needed to ensure service excellence
