Job summary

Lenders Title Company, in Arkansas, is seeking a Title Agent to support residential and commercial real estate transactions. You will examine title records, identify issues, and prepare title commitments and policies in collaboration with Closing Agents and attorneys.

The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service. A license or ability to obtain one is required. Flexible work model with standard business hours is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in title insurance, title examination, escrow, real estate, or related field preferred
• Title Agent license or ability to get licensed as required by state law
• Strong understanding of title insurance principles and real estate terminology
• Proficiency with title production software and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and organized

Responsibilities

• Perform title searches by examining public records, deeds, plats, and other instruments
• Determine property ownership and identify liens, easements, and title matters
• Research and resolve title defects and curative issues prior to closing
• Prepare and issue title commitments, title insurance policies, endorsements, and related documents
• Review title commitments for accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines
• Coordinate with underwriters and escrow teams throughout the closing process
• Communicate title requirements and findings clearly to relevant parties
• Maintain accurate transaction files and ensure regulatory compliance
• Provide exceptional customer service during title and closing processes
• Support team members and perform other duties as assigned
