Job summary

Road To Responsibility, Inc. is seeking Residential Support Staff in South Weymouth, MA to help individuals with developmental disabilities live independently in a home setting.

You will work with a supportive team to provide hands-on care, skill-building, and daily living support, turning houses into caring homes. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with families and care providers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the Internet.
• Successful completion and maintenance of all mandated trainings, including medication administration.
• Willingness to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI).
• Ability to perform essential duties with reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living skills like cooking, hygiene, and routines.
• Provide hands-on personal care and mobility assistance.
• Help coordinate and attend medical appointments and community activities.
• Implement individualized support and behavioral plans.
• Administer medications following proper procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Provide transportation as needed.
• Complete documentation and progress reports.
• Collaborate with families, care providers, and team members.
• Act as a positive, consistent role model.
