RTR in Rockland, MA is hiring a Residential Support Specialist to provide direct support and skill-building in daily living activities and personal care. You will assist with meals, hygiene, mobility, and community participation, while ensuring safety and proper documentation.

This role includes transportation and medication administration support, teamwork with the Residential Manager, and ongoing training to promote independence and quality of life for individuals with developmental

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or 1 year direct experience in human services.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and internet.
• Successful completion of mandated trainings including medication administration.
• Willingness to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI).
• Ability to perform essential duties with reasonable accommodations.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct support and skill-building in daily living activities.
• Assist personal care needs such as hygiene, meals, dressing, and mobility.
• Support participation in community activities, appointments and events.
• Provide transportation as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment.
• Complete daily documentation and shift reports.
• Administer medications following established procedures.
• Implement behavioral support plans and safety interventions as needed.
• Support individuals with medical appointments and documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and training; support onboarding of new staff.
