Job summary

RTR is seeking a Residential Support Staff member in Weymouth, MA to assist individuals with daily living, medications, and community activities. This role emphasizes hands-on care, documentation, and collaboration with families and care providers.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to complete mandated trainings including medication administration. CORI checks are required; accommodations are possible to support essential duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
• Successful completion and maintenance of all state and agency mandated trainings, including medication administration.
• Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning DPPC, DDS and other agencies.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living skills like cooking, hygiene, and routines.
• Provide hands-on personal care and mobility assistance.
• Help coordinate and attend medical appointments and community activities.
• Implement individualized support and behavioral plans.
• Administer medications following proper procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Provide transportation as needed.
• Complete documentation and progress reports.
• Collaborate with team members, families, and care providers.
• Act as a positive, consistent role model.
