Job summary

Paycom seeks a Part-Time Care Assistant to support residents in a 24-hour residential facility. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, monitoring behavior, and recording observations. The role involves meal prep support, transportation, and basic case management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• One year of social/direct care experience in a human services setting.
• CNA certification or an associates degree in a related field or two years' equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Arrange for needed medical care and services.
• Develop an individual service/treatment plan for each assigned individual.
• Provide daily living assistance and companionship.
• Counsel and advise individuals on behavioral problems and decisions.
• Instruct daily living skills one-on-one or in groups.
• Observe and monitor resident’s behavior.
• Participate in case reviews and team planning.
• Perform housekeeping duties and basic chores.
• Assist with meals and nutritional planning.
• Maintain progress records and report changes to supervisor.
• Provide transportation toappointments and activities.
• Follow medication administration policies.
• Submit time sheets and leave requests on time.
