Qualifications

• Must have a Certificated Nursing Assistant certification from the Idaho Board of Nursing upon hire.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Ability to apply basic math and perform calculations used in care plans.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work with residents, families and staff in a respectful manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to nursing home residents according to individual care plans.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Assist with feeding, hygiene, transfers, and mobility as needed.
• Observe signs or changes in residents' condition and report to supervisors.
• Attend in-service programs and complete required training hours.
