Chimes of Virginia, Inc. is seeking a competent supervisor to oversee residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities in a Massachusetts setting.

The role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting individuals to achieve their highest potential. The position requires a relevant degree (assoc./bachelor’s preferred) or equivalent experience, two years in developmental disabilities, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience working with persons who have a developmental disability in a group residence.
• Experience in a management or supervisory position.
• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Supervise the day to day operation of the home in a manner that complies with regulations and Agency standards.
• Provide supervision and training to people with intellectual disabilities to promote growth toward their highest potential.
• Supervise Lead Staff and Direct Support Professionals, issuing warnings and contributing to performance improvement plans.
• Maintain weekly checks of service and medication books and complete audit forms.
• Maintain professionalism and serve as a role model for staff.
• Coordinate and participate in staff training and ongoing staff development.
• Ensure fiscal responsibility and manage household budgets and individuals’ funds.
• Ensure timely reporting of incidents, audits, and monthly reports.
