Job summary

Chimes is seeking a House Manager to oversee a residential home, supervise direct care staff, and ensure quality, cost-effective services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The role reports to the Director of Residential Services and requires strong leadership and budget management.

The position emphasizes regulatory compliance, staff development, and coordination of schedules, medications, and safety procedures to maintain a high standard of care.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities in a group residence.
• Management or supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operation of the home to meet agencies standards.
• Provide supervision and training to individuals served for growth.
• Oversee staff including performance actions and coaching as needed.
• Maintain service records, audit forms, and medication logs.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper budgeting of household funds.
• Coordinate staff training and ongoing professional development.
