Chimes VA Brand in the United States seeks a dedicated supervisor for its residential homes. The role oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and agency standards, while supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.

You will lead staff, manage budgets, coordinate training, and maintain safety, quality leisure activities, and effective communications with families and health professionals.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in human services preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience with persons who have developmental disabilities in a group residence and supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operation of the home ensuring regulatory and agency standards compliance.
• Provide supervision and training to individuals with intellectual disabilities to promote growth toward their potential.
• Supervise Lead Staff and Direct Support Professionals, assist with disciplinary actions and performance improvement.
• Maintain records including service/medication books, audit forms, and monthly safety reports.
• Coordinate staff training and manage household budgets and petty cash.

Education
