Job summary

Chimes is seeking a residential supervisor to oversee a home for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and coordinate training while ensuring compliance with regulations and agency standards.

The role requires a background in human services, minimum two years’ supervisory experience, and a valid driver’s license. You will partner with families, nurses, and administrators to deliver quality care and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a human services field is preferred (education).
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least two years’ experience with persons with developmental disabilities in a group residence.
• Experience in a management or supervisory position.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day operation of the home in line with regulations and Agency standards.
• Provides supervision and training to people with intellectual disabilities to promote growth.
• Supervises Lead Staff and Direct Support Professionals; handles disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintains weekly checks of service and medication books; reports errors promptly.
• Coordinates staff training and supports ongoing staff development; manages household budgets.
• Transports persons served to medical appointments and other activities.
• Communicates with families and coordinating nurse to ensure medical services.
• Attends monthly house meetings and ensures safety and cleanliness of the home.
