Job summary

Comcast is seeking an entry-level broadband installer to perform residential installations and troubleshoot voice, video, and data services in customers’ homes. You will work with safety guidelines, complete training, and meet required certifications to advance.

The role involves physical work, lifting up to 70 pounds, ladders, attics, and outdoor environments, with schedules that may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Benefits start on Day 1 and bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience or ability to install home networks and troubleshoot customer equipment is desirable.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and work in various environments including attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects following safety practices and codes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues from the network connection to customer equipment.
• Install and support basic home networks using coaxial cable and Ethernet; include Wi‑Fi where needed.
• Verify service quality using testing tools and educate customers on products and usage.
• Document completed work and update customer accounts using digital tools.
• Maintain, clean, and stock vehicle and tools; report safety concerns promptly.
