Job summary

Comcast is hiring for an entry-level broadband installation and troubleshooting role. You will install services in customers’ homes, diagnose issues from network to customer equipment, and educate customers on product use. The position requires physical work, travel in home environments, and flexibility for varied schedules.

Base compensation is $18.20/hour with quarterly bonuses and training. Benefits begin Day 1, including health, dental and vision coverage, PTO, holidays, and cable service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Willingness to complete required training, certifications, and background checks.
• Strong safety and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations and service changes following safety codes and company procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve issues from network to customer equipment.
• Install and support basic home networks (coax, Ethernet, Wi-Fi) based on customer needs.
• Verify service quality using testing tools and adjust for reliability.
• Educate customers on products, services, equipment use and expectations.
• Document completed work and update customer accounts using digital tools.
• Drive a company vehicle and maintain license; meet safety standards.
