Job summary

Comcast is hiring an entry-level broadband installer to work in customers’ homes and neighborhoods, installing new services, restoring connectivity, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

The role involves physical work in varied environments, with schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime. Training and safety certifications are required, with benefits starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• Entry-level installer role requiring adherence to safety and procedures.
• Willingness to complete training and certifications.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work varied schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects safely.
• Diagnose and resolve issues from network to customer equipment.
• Install and support home networks using coax, Ethernet, and Wi‑Fi.
• Verify service quality with testing tools and adjust as needed.
• Educate customers on products, usage, and expectations.
• Document work and update customer accounts in digital systems.
• Maintain and stock vehicle, tools, and report safety concerns.
• Operate ladders, meters, and light power tools safely.
• Work at heights up to 26 ft on ladders, roofs, poles.
• Drive company vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Complete required training, certifications, background checks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Meet or exceed performance and safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
