Comcast is hiring an entry-level broadband installer to perform in-home installations and troubleshooting. You will work directly in customers’ homes to install services, restore connectivity and ensure a positive experience, often with a variable schedule including nights and weekends.

The role requires reliable attendance, ability to handle physical work, and completion of necessary trainings and safety requirements. Comcast offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing training from day one.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED.
• Relevant work experience and applicable certifications are a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes and disconnects while following safe work practices and codes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues from the network to customer equipment.
• Install and support home networks using coaxial, Ethernet and Wi-Fi based on customer needs.
• Verify service quality using testing tools and adjust for reliable performance.
• Educate customers on products, services and proper usage.
• Document completed work and update customer accounts digitally.
• Maintain vehicle, tools and equipment and report safety concerns promptly.
• Operate ladders and power tools safely; work at heights up to 26 ft as needed.
• Drive company vehicle with a valid license and complete required trainings.
