Job summary

Comcast is seeking a broadband installer to set up and troubleshoot voice, video and data services directly in customers' homes and neighborhoods. You’ll work with cables, Wi‑Fi, and network equipment, following safety practices to deliver a positive customer experience.

The role is physical, includes nights, weekends and occasional overtime, and requires reliable attendance. Training and certifications are provided; day‑1 benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to install services in customers' homes.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Install residential services and changes while following safety procedures and codes.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues from the connection to customer equipment.
• Install and support home networks (coax, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi) per needs.
• Verify service quality with testing tools and adjust for reliability.
• Educate customers on products, usage, and expectations.
• Document work and update customer accounts digitally.
• Maintain vehicle/tools and report safety concerns promptly.
• Operate ladders and power tools safely; lift 70+ pounds as needed.
• Drive company vehicle and complete required training and checks.
