Phipps Neighborhoods is seeking a Residential Aide for Far Rockaway, Queens. The role ensures front door security, supervises residents in SRO, and supports program operations on-site at a social services site.

Primary responsibilities include intake handling, daily rounds, fire safety, incident reporting, and coordination with staff during emergencies. A NYS security license and related certifications are required.

Qualificações

• New York State Security Guard License required.
• 8hr. and 16hr. Security Guard certifications required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors residents, staff and visitors entering and leaving the facility.
• Answers telephone and directs calls to appropriate staff.
• Welcomes and screens new clients; conducts intake in absence of onsite counselor.
• Prepares intake packages for new clients and conducts facility tours.
• Manages fire safety and emergency procedures; conducts drills.
• Maintains daily logs and incident reports; follows up on on-site emergencies.
