Ohio Living Swan Creek is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan, organize, and oversee the Activity Department, ensuring programs meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being while complying with standards.

You will supervise staff, develop plans of care, build relationships with residents and families, and seek opportunities to enhance quality of life through engaging activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in recreation, art therapy, or related field preferred.
• Current unencumbered designation to practice as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the activities program to meet residents’ physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
• Provide quality activity programming and interact with residents to ensure quality care and relations.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with licensure, regulations, and standards for program services.
• Supervise Activities staff and foster a positive work environment.
• Develop and oversee written plans of care for each resident and document progress.
