Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC. is seeking a Transportation Coordinator (Driver) to deliver a structured transportation program within the community.

The role includes coordination, scheduling, resident communication, and operational support. Main responsibilities include transporting residents on scheduled days, safely operating vehicles, entering requests in the digital system, and maintaining vehicle readiness for daily operations and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age with 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Valid Missouri Driver’s License (Class E) and clean MVR.
• Ability to operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lift systems for residents.
• Experience with older adults, transportation, or coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation services during scheduled work hours, including medical days.
• Safely operate community vehicles to provide medical, recreational, and personal transportation.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in the digital transportation management system.
• Maintain vehicle readiness with routine inspections and clean, fueled vehicles.
• Support entertainment and programming with outings and event logistics.
• During non-driving hours, provide community support and interdepartmental assistance.
