Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a Transportation Coordinator (Driver) to deliver a structured, resident-focused transportation program. The role includes driving and coordinating transportation, scheduling, resident communication, and operational support.

Schedule: Full-time, Tuesday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. Must be 21+ with 3 years licensed driving experience and a valid Class E license. Experience with older adults or coordination preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Must have a valid state Class E Driver’s License and Clean MVR.
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lift systems while assisting residents.
• Previous experience with older adults, transportation, or coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation services during scheduled work hours, including, but not limited to, coverage of designated medical transportation days (Tuesday and Thursday).
• Safely operate community vehicles to provide medical, recreational, and personal transportation to residents.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in our digital transportation management system, ensuring schedules are accurate and aligned with community transportation guidelines and availability.
• Maintain vehicle readiness by completing routine inspections and ensuring vehicles are clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
• Support the Entertainment & Programing team with scheduled outings and events, including planning, logistics, resident participation, and adherence to safety protocols and return schedules.
• During non-driving hours, provide community support as needed, including programming, interdepartmental support, and other operational tasks.
