Job summary

University Retirement Community in Davis, CA is seeking a Technology Coordinator to provide hands-on technology support for residents and assist with community systems, ensuring a connected living environment.

You will onboard new residents to technology services, support Wi‑Fi, TVs, and AV equipment, and collaborate with the central IT team on troubleshooting and upgrades while delivering effective help desk support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in IT, technical support, or related field.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred or willingness to pursue after hire.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, asset management, and support best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident support for computers, Wi‑Fi, internet, TVs, and A/V equipment.
• Onboard new residents to technology services and help them become comfortable.
• Support systems including Wi‑Fi, cameras, access control, emergency call systems, and community platforms.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues with central IT and assist on special projects.
• Offer help desk support: password resets, printer support, mobile devices, and equipment management.
