Job summary

University Retirement Community in Davis, California, is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to lead our 5-star Skilled Nursing Facility and Assisted Living operations. You’ll supervise the care team, manage scheduling and budgets, and ensure exceptional, person-centered resident care across both short- and long-term services.

The role requires 2+ years nursing experience in Assisted Living or long-term care, an active RN license, CPR/First Aid, and comfort with clinical software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ professional nursing experience in Assisted Living or a long term care setting.
• Prior supervisory experience in similar setting.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from accredited program, college, or university if required by the state in which you work.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and medical records and clinical software programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the care team—handling scheduling, training, and daily coordination.
• Manage staffing, budgets, and documentation; jump in to solve problems as they come up.
• Connect with residents and families; handle concerns and uphold high care standards.
• Complete Level of Care assessments and support quality and safety efforts.
• Help hire and train new team members; be a key leader in creating a positive, reliable environment.
