Job summary

RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to greet prospects, process applications, manage leases and renewals, handle rent collections and evictions, and promote resident satisfaction at our Texas property. This on-site role requires a customer-service mindset, basic accounting comfort, and proficiency with MS Office and leasing software.

Responsibilities include showing apartments, processing applications, preparing move-ins, managing renewals, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degrees are not required; a high school diploma or GED is sufficient.
• Experience: at least 1 year in customer service or apartment leasing; accounting background is a plus.
• Proficiency with standard office software (MS Office) and ability to manage leasing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects using lead management tools; assist with applications and deposits.
• Process applications (credit checks, rental history) and obtain Manager approval; follow up on status.
• Show apartments, close sales, prepare move-in paperwork and conduct community orientation.
• Manage lease renewals and notices; handle move-outs and data in property management systems.
• Oversee rental collections and enforce lease terms; initiate evictions when necessary.
• Address resident questions and resolve service issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Conduct market research and update marketing systems; support social media for visibility.
