Job summary

RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to greet prospects, process applications, manage leases, collect rents, and promote resident satisfaction on-site. The role requires coordinating with the Community Manager, handling renewals, evictions, and social media outreach to boost property visibility.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer service or apartment leasing and familiarity with MS Office and project management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing.
• Background in accounting with customer service is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in the Lead Management Software, assist with applications and deposits per procedures.
• Maintain an updated availability report, process applications (credit checks, rental history), and follow up with applicants.
• Show apartments and close sales, prepare move-ins, obtain signatures, and provide community orientation.
• Manage lease renewals, issue renewal notices, handle move-outs, and update property management software.
• Oversee rental collections, enforce lease terms, track fees, and initiate evictions when needed.
• Respond promptly to complaints and requests to promote resident satisfaction and retention.
• Follow eviction procedures, including notices and court representations when required.
• Conduct market research and outreach marketing, update Radix as needed.
• Support active social media presence to enhance visibility and engagement; complete lease/move-in/out paperwork.
