Job summary

RPM Living is hiring an Assistant Community Manager to greet prospects, process applications, manage leases and renewals, and support resident satisfaction. The role involves rent collections, evictions when required, and promoting community visibility through effective communication and social media.

The candidate will handle move-in readiness, signings, and orientation while maintaining accurate records in property software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of experience in customer service or apartment leasing. A background in accounting combined with customer service is also preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in our Lead Management Software; assist prospects with applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Process applications (credit checks, rental history) and obtain Community Manager approval; follow up with applicants.
• Show apartments, close sales, prepare move-ins, obtain signatures, and provide community orientation.
• Manage lease renewals; send renewal notices; handle move-outs; apply fees when necessary; update software with move-in/out data.
• Oversee rental collections; enforce lease terms; track fees; initiate eviction when needed for financial compliance and revenue optimization.
• Address resident complaints, questions, and requests; respond promptly to ensure satisfaction and retention.
