Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Resident Solution Architect to join our Professional Services team. You will work on diverse, high-impact customer projects, solving complex data transformation problems with dbt and guiding customers through architecture, implementation, and long-term deployment strategies.

You will collaborate with Sales, Training, Support, and Engineering, while becoming a product expert in the dbt data stack. Occasional travel and remote collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise customers in post-sales technical roles.
• Deep expertise in at least one data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift).
• At least 2 years of dbt experience, ideally including dbt Platform.
• Proficient in SQL with some Python experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design for dbt platform deployments.
• Guide implementation, configurations, and MVPs for customers.
• Ensure strategic customers adopt the dbt platform.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architects, Training, Support.
• Provide feedback to product/engineering on customer requests and issues.
• Become a dbt product expert within the modern data stack.
