Job summary

Fivetran, Inc. is seeking a Customer Solutions Architect to maximize value for existing dbt Cloud customers. You will monitor a portfolio, lead technical discussions, and uncover data challenges to drive renewal and expansion.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Sales Directors and Solutions Architects and requires frequent engagement with customers to ensure success. You will represent the voice of the customer, help shape product discussions, and participate in the early Customer

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a post-sales role, such as a technical account manager or CSE.
• Solid technical background with modern data warehousing architectures, analytics stack, and SQL proficiency.
• Comfort presenting to stakeholders or audience, ideally in externally facing roles.
• Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment and think on your feet in customer conversations.
• Desire to be part of a collaborative team and work with Sales Directors and Solutions Architects.
• Willingness to travel to external and internal events as needed.
• Bonus points for dbt certification; experience with APIs and data infrastructure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Commercial or Enterprise customers and monitor health, adoption, and usage to identify expansion or churn risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders to improve loyalty and retention.
• Educate customers on new products and features to maximize value from dbt Cloud.
• Collaborate closely with Sales Directors and Solutions Architects, providing input on renewals and the customer lifecycle.
• Be the voice of the customer in product discussions and help improve cross-functional processes.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing by improving assets and processes within the team.
• Create and deliver external content through live events, blog posts, tutorials, or other content.
