Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Lead Sales Engineer for Enterprise to partner with Sales in understanding complex data needs and to demonstrate how the Fivetran + dbt platform delivers end-to-end data pipelines. You will own evaluations from ingestion to analytics-ready models using dbt Cloud.

You will guide private-cloud deployments where needed, work with Product and Engineering, and build strong relationships with customers and partners like Snowflake and Databricks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data replication, sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting in data operations, analytics, or BI

Responsibilities

• Understand Enterprise customers' data requirements across ingestion, transformation, and modeling
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to Enterprise audiences on the Fivetran + dbt value proposition
• Lead technical evaluations across the full data lifecycle from replication to analytics-ready models
• Guide customers through dbt Cloud proof-of-concept implementations, including private-cloud deployments when applicable
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align solutions with Enterprise needs and inform the dbt Cloud roadmap
• Maintain relationships with key Enterprise customers and partners (Snowflake, AWS, Databricks)
• Own the technical relationship across the customer lifecycle pre-sale to adoption and expansion
• Stay current on data movement, transformation, and analytics engineering trends, actively engaging in the dbt community
