Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the community.

You will handle file management, resident requests, deposits, and data entry while ensuring leases, policies, and procedures are followed. The role includes evictions coordination, outreach marketing, and maintaining professional conduct in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• 6 months experience in the property management industry
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports
• Respond to resident requests in a courteous and efficient manner
• Collect monies due and oversee evictions, skips, and move-outs
• Coordinate with legal counsel during evictions
• Enter data into property management software and maintain files
• Oversee renter's insurance procedures and deposits
• Assist with showings and ensure model apartments are ready
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, and policies
• Maintain relationships with locator services and local businesses
• Conduct outreach marketing and retention programs
• Report unusual property or resident circumstances
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct
