Apartment Management Consultants is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee file management, resident requests, and move-in/out processes. You will manage renewals, deposits, and insurance procedures while maintaining strong communication with residents and external counsel.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• 6 months experience in property management
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Professional and courteous in fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident requests
• Collect all monies due and oversee evictions, skips, and move-outs
• Communicate with outside legal counsel during eviction processes
• Enter data into property management software and manage renewals
• Oversee renter’s insurance procedures and deposits
• Ensure model apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, and policies
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses
• Shop surrounding properties and conduct outreach marketing
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times
