Job summary

Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (HACP) is seeking a Resident Services Specialist to support FSS and ROSS, engage with residents to identify needs, and connect them with resources. The position involves interviewing residents, developing case plans, coordinating events, and tracking outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Service, Criminal Justice, Human Services, or related field; 2+ years in social services.
• Master's degree preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
• Must possess valid driver's license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Recruit individuals and families for RSS programs to meet goals.
• Interview residents in person, by phone, or home visits to assess needs.
• Develop case plans to improve social functioning and self-sufficiency.
• Coordinate with welfare groups and service providers for residents' resources.
• Prepare reports and track referrals for program progress.
