Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or preferred based on context.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact appropriately with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly rounds of the facility and document conditions.
• Oversee volunteers and community service activities.
• Conduct life skills workshops as assigned.
• Provide basic supplies to new residents.
• Monitor client census and report to funding sources as required.
• Manage sign-in/out procedures and logs for clients.
• Initiate emergency follow-up if residents are late or absent.
• Orient new clients to facility rules and safety procedures.
• Coordinate meal distribution and address any issues.
• Inventory client personal property upon program termination.
• Monitor and document client medications.
• Schedule and log medical appointments for clients.
• Ensure daily chores are completed and cleaning supplies are stocked.
• Conduct safety inspections and contraband searches as per policy.
• Log visits and inquiries in a professional manner.
• Conduct monthly fire drills and safety checks.
