Job summary

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking a dedicated staff member to coordinate the ongoing security of the facility, supervise clients in their daily routines and chores, and orient new clients. The role includes monitoring curfews, logging calls, and handling required paperwork and documentation to ensure program integrity.

Responsibilities also cover census verification, appointment scheduling, meal coordination, inventory of client property, and adherence to fire safety and emergency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with homeless populations and individuals with substance abuse and mental health issues preferred.
• Must have effective written and verbal communication and ability to interact appropriately with clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility security and supervise clients in daily routines.
• Monitor census, curfews, and escorts; ensure proper logging and reporting.
• Schedule medical appointments and maintain medication logs for clients.
• Conduct inspections, searches, and safety drills in accordance with policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
