Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Norfolk, VA to support residents in a multi-family community. You will answer phones, help with move-in and lease processes, and ensure residents are served with a high level of care.

Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, coordinating with staff, and assisting with renewals and updates. A valid driver's license and flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ residential property management or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency with PC, internet search, email, and MS Office (Word/Excel); experience with Yardi/Payscan is a plus.
• Effective communication and interaction with customers, vendors, and staff; able to give and receive direction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize duties to meet objectives.
• Positive, professional demeanor in all interactions; valid driver’s license required.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, off-hours and emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist prospective residents with lease, community details, and move-in information.
• Prepare lease documents for move-in (pets, deposits, etc.) and finalize paperwork.
• Respond to and manage resident complaints and service issues with appropriate staff.
• Support residents during move-out, including notices to vacate and transfers.
• Manage lease renewals and inform residents of community services.
• Coordinate with maintenance to schedule and complete service requests.
• Follow up to ensure services meet LMH standards and resident satisfaction.
• Assist with outreach marketing activities and general office duties.
