Job summary

Knoxville's Community Development Corporation (KCDC) seeks a Leasing & Resident Services Specialist for Montgomery Village to welcome residents and manage lease paperwork and certifications. You will greet visitors, answer inquiries, maintain waiting lists, and keep resident files accurate in Yardi, while following policies and housing laws.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with at least 1 year of clerical experience.
• Ability to learn KCDC policies and housing program regulations.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Yardi.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Spanish language ability is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming first impression for visitors, applicants, and residents.
• Deliver responsive resident service and resolve questions promptly.
• Lease available apartments and maintain an active waiting list.
• Keep resident files organized and enter data in Yardi.
• Coordinate housing certifications and prepare necessary documents.
• Prepare lease paperwork, notices, and correspondence.
• Support efficient operations by following policies and assisting with other duties.
