Job summary

Cardinal is seeking a Student Intern for Resident Coordination at our on-site community. The role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service to residents, aiding leasing efforts, and supporting front desk operations.

The intern will participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training, maintain lease File documentation, and assist with community events while meeting schedule constraints including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be enrolled in a degree program with a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Must have completed a minimum of one year at the enrolled college/university.
• Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA; annual verification.
• Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community.
• Must live on designated community floor per guidelines.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Available to work ~20 hours per week.
• Evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrate Cardinal Culture and Core Values daily.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Administrative front desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training.
• Greet prospective clients and present community and homes.
• Process lease applications and paperwork.
• Pass Cardinal U training and leasing certifications.
• Maintain lease file documentation and audits.
• Stay informed on market conditions and trends.
• Keep tour path clean for a positive first impression.
• Support planning of community events and other projects.
