Job summary

FirstKey Homes, LLC is seeking a Service Manager to lead the local Service Office and Field Operations teams across markets. The role ensures resident service requests are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard while promoting customer service and operational excellence.

The position oversees Lead Technicians, Service Coordinators, Technicians, and Vendors, with about 10% field time for inspections, resident experience assessment, and team performance reviews.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in service, maintenance, construction, or property management leadership.
• Experience managing teams including Service Technicians, Coordinators, and Vendors.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, expenses, and cost controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and work order systems (e.g., Yardi).

Responsibilities

• Lead local Service Office and Field Operations teams to deliver high-quality resident service.
• Oversee field inspections, safety, policy adherence, and budget compliance.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts.
• Ensure timely completion of service requests with resident satisfaction.
• Align department goals with company objectives through collaboration with leadership.
• Enforce OSHA compliance and safety protocols.
• Track budgeting, asset integrity, and vendor performance.
