Job summary

FirstKey Homes, LLC seeks a Service Manager to lead the local Service Office and Field Operations teams, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high customer service across markets. You will oversee Lead Technicians, Coordinators, Technicians, and Vendors, with approx. 10% field time for inspections and performance reviews.

Responsibilities include budget oversight, process improvements, and collaboration with leadership to achieve operational excellence across multi-market operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; advanced degree preferred.
• 6+ years in service, maintenance, construction, or property management leadership.
• Proven experience managing teams of technicians, coordinators, and vendors.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting, cost controls, and reporting.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and service management software.
• Experience reviewing work scopes, cost estimates, and vendor contracts.
• Ability to lead multiple teams across a geographic area.
• Data-driven approach to track performance and drive improvements.
• Experience with safety compliance and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead local Service Office and Field Operations teams.
• Oversee safety compliance, PPE protocols, and incident response.
• Monitor service request quality, response times, and resident satisfaction.
• Manage budgets for work orders, fleet, and vendors.
• Evaluate vendor performance and enforce contract compliance.
• Conduct field inspections to assess asset conditions and service quality.
• Track KPIs and report on efficiency, satisfaction, and costs.
• Collaborate with leadership to align service goals with business objectives.
