Job summary

Westmont Living’s Westmont of Carmel Valley community is seeking an experienced Resident Services/Wellness Director (LVN) to lead the clinical team and support compassionate care for residents in the Assisted Living and Memory Care setting.

The ideal candidate will have an LVN license in good standing, experience in assisted living, and hands-on leadership skills to manage staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance resident well-being.

Qualifications

• LVN license in good standing.
• Assisted Living experience preferred.
• Within 30 days of hire, CPR and First Aid certification.
• Knowledgeable of state and federal regulations.
• 1 year minimum management/supervisory experience, including hiring, training and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical team and support residents in the Assisted Living department.
• Hire, train, coach and counsel staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and quality standards.
• Provide resident-centered wellness oversight and initiative leadership.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.

What we need from you:

• LVN license in good standing
• Assisted Living Experience preferred.
• Within 30 days of hire be certified in CPR and First Aid
• Knowledgeable of state and federal regulations.
• Management and supervising experience (1 year minimum), including hiring, training and coaching and counseling.

• Able to exhibit good business judgment and have strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with multiple priorities.
• Able to demonstrate ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with minimal supervision.
