Job summary

Project Access is seeking a Family & Senior Community Program Coordinator for the Silvey/Homestead locations in Dixon, CA. The role designs and implements programs that improve residents' lives and connects them with services across four pillars: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.

You'll lead after-school and teen activities, coordinate senior programs, recruit volunteers, and build partnerships with local providers, while managing

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in multi-family housing or related fields; or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
• Experience in after-school programs or educational settings for youth
• Programs, activities, and special events for senior citizens
• Serving diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competency and community awareness
• Proficient with MS Office; Basic with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Salesforce, Concur
• Strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills
• Self-starter, multi-tasker, and strong communicator
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform light physical activity

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs and services across four initiatives: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building
• Conduct outreach and survey resident needs through community engagement
• Coordinate and oversee after-school and teen programs including homework help
• Coordinate and oversee senior programs, including bingo, crafts, and events
• Independently plan, prepare, and facilitate resident-facing workshops and sessions
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local providers to deliver services
• Plan and facilitate community-building events and foster relationships
• Provide residents with information and referrals to access community resources
• Support food distribution needs, including maintaining food bank partnerships
• Build strong relationships with property management and schedule regular updates
• Organize monthly outreach through door-to-door, digital, and in-person activity
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and interns
• Use personal vehicle for supplies and offsite meetings (mileage reimbursed)
• Publish monthly newsletters and events calendar
• Collect and submit program outcomes data to measure impact
• Assist with budgeting and use of funds for contractor services
