Job summary

Project Access is seeking an entry-level Resident Services Associate to support our Family Resource Center and after-school programs for diverse residents in Harbor City, CA. You will assist the Resident Services Coordinator, help design enrichment activities, and build connections with school-age children and families.

You will gain hands-on experience delivering curriculum, coordinating events, and promoting services in a multigenerational community.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher) and Outlook.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Services Coordinator in linking residents with existing programs and services in the community, facilitating access to services.
• Provide direct service for the After-School program including planning, organizing, and implementing curriculum, monitoring progress.
• Provide translation and interpretation services.
• Assist staff in the creation of community building events.
• Assist with instruction of onsite classes, programs, after school tutoring, and other services.
• Outreach to residents to promote program participation.
• Distribute monthly newsletters and fliers for residents.
