Job summary

HallKeen Management is seeking a on-site Resident Services Coordinator for a Senior apartment community in Marshfield, MA. The RSC will work closely with the Property Manager to assist with administration and operation, while bringing a social service perspective to address residents' needs.

Hours are 25 per week, with a path from temporary full-time to permanent part-time. The role emphasizes helping residents access social, educational and economic opportunities and aging in place with

Qualifications

• Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in social work or human services is preferred.
• A degree in social work or social services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new residents and explain the resident services program and role.
• Develop cooperative network with local service agencies to help residents.
• Serve as liaison to community agencies for resident referrals.
• Create a Resource Directory of local service providers.
• Assist when eviction risk is identified and mediate conflicts.
• Set and track resident services targets; report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Facilitate formation of Resident Associations for social events and life-skills topics.
• Communicate inclusively with residents with limited English or impairments.
• Complete other housing and resident-related assignments as directed by supervisor.
