Job summary

HallKeen Management is seeking a hands-on Resident Services Coordinator to support two properties in Boston. The RSC will work at a LIHTC property with an elderly-disabled population and an affordable family property, partnering with property managers to address resident needs from a social service perspective.

The role involves developing community service linkages, delivering lease education, coordinating resident programs, and tracking outcomes to strengthen connections between residents,

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• Minimum 1 year working with low-income populations or 3 years in community development.
• Knowledge of entitlement programs and local social services.
• Ability to establish partnerships with community service referral partnerships.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents and explain the services program.
• Develop networks of local social services agencies.
• Liaise with community providers and referral staff.
• Create a Resource Directory of service providers.
• Support eviction-related rent issues and provide referrals.
• Track program targets and report outcomes.
• Conduct intake and needs assessments.
• Mediate conflicts between tenants when needed.
• Complete housing and resident related assignments.
