Phipps Neighborhoods in New York City is seeking a Resident Services Specialist to provide one-on-one support to Forest Hills residents on housing, education, employment, benefits, and connections to community resources. The role includes data entry in Salesforce, attending meetings, and delivering health, wellness, and financial workshops.

Salary ranges from $55,000 to $60,000, and bilingual Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s in human service, sociology, psychology, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years or more experience with client engagement, case management, intake, referrals, benefits, taxes, and assisting with benefits re-certifications.
• Bilingual Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Attend Bi-weekly Case Conference meetings with supervisor to review case files.
• Assist residents with housing, education, employment, benefits and related matters.
• Complete Universal Intake and enter clients into Salesforce; maintain case notes.
• Facilitate health, wellness, and financial support workshops.
• Participate in Neighborhood Advisory Board meetings and local committees.
• Develop Service Plans and coordinate with community partners for resident needs.
