Job summary

PORTFOLIO RESIDENT SERVICES INC is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to support affordable housing residents with developmental activities and essential resources. You will create monthly calendars, help manage donations and volunteers, and serve as the first point of contact at the community center.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and enjoys working with diverse age groups, including children and seniors.

Qualifications

• Must have experience or willingness to work in education, social work, nonprofit environments.
• Experience with children, teens, adults, and/or seniors is desirable.
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet commitments.
• Familiarity with community and social service resources.
• Comfortable using company-provided technology (iPad) for reporting and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a monthly calendar of developmental activities and resources for residents.
• Provide welcoming, helpful contact at the community center.
• Prepare reports based on calendars, sign-in sheets, and program hours.
• Design and post monthly calendars and flyers on-site; distribute door-to-door.
• Oversee program offerings, recruit volunteers, seek donations, and partner with community orgs.
• Log volunteer activities, donations, and partner communications monthly.
• Communicate resident needs to staff to address services proactively.
• Monitor interactions with residents across age groups and maintain records.
