Job summary

PORTFOLIO RESIDENT SERVICES INC is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to improve residents' quality of life in affordable housing communities. The role focuses on CORES certified resident services, delivering programs that build knowledge, healthy lifestyles, and resource access.

The ideal candidate is organized, outgoing, compassionate, and able to multi-task in a community-focused setting. Hours are 12–5pm, 4–5 days/week, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, social work, nonprofit, or related field preferred.
• Must be available 4-5 days per week; hours 12-5pm Mon-Fri.
• Comfortable using company-issued technology (iPad) and basic reporting apps.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, inviting atmosphere and serve as initial contact at the community center.
• Create and post monthly calendars and distribute flyers; door-to-door outreach.
• Oversee program offerings, recruit volunteers, solicit donations, and partner with community organizations.
• Prepare monthly reports based on calendars, sign-in sheets, and contracted program hours.
• Log communications with volunteers and donors; maintain resident engagement records.
• Assist in addressing resident needs by communicating with staff and management.
