Job summary

The Franklin Johnston Group in Rockville, MD is seeking a part-time Resident Service Coordinator to support residents at The Gardens of Traville. The role focuses on coordinating programs, delivering excellent customer service, and acting as a liaison between residents and property management staff.

You will develop and promote community services, organize health-related events, and assist residents in navigating HUD-related services while ensuring respect and compliance at all times.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve, and provide results for the residents served.
• Good communication, comprehension and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Must be organized, detail oriented and have good time management skills.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Canva.

Responsibilities

• Develops a Resource Directory that includes a listing of state and/or local service providers.
• Organizes educational events that include subjects relating to health care, agency support, life skills and referral sources.
• Implements on site or mobile health services and screenings.
• Organizes and promotes resident involvement in on and off site programs.
• Assists residents in acquiring and utilizing desired community services such as housing, meals, transportation and other services.
• Ensures all residents are treated with respect and dignity, reports complaints to supervisors and authorities as required.
• Builds rapport with residents while maintaining professional boundaries to assist aging in place.
